My wonderful and dear friend Brianne surprised me with the best Christmas present yet! I had dropped hints to all my friends about how badly I wanted Eizou Hakusho and I GOT IT. <3 I'm so thankful! I just finished watching it all today, and some points I should make:
Points to make:
1. Wow. Kuwabara's voice actor seems to have improved. I couldn't tell much of a difference in Yusuke's voice, at all. Which is good, considering Justin said his voice had gotten deeper. If you pay close enough attention it has but honestly it's barely noticeable.
2. MuMu Hakusho is fan service to the highest extent. As is this entire DVD set. I'm a little partial to the first dream and second. It makes me laugh like a hyena.
3. The Golden Seal made me nostalgic. And Koenma. Awww. ♥
4. This is the first time in years I've fangirled over anyone other than Genkai, which I think is just because this is mostly new material I haven't seen, so it's exciting. I keep forgetting how effing amazing this anime is.
5. Funimation needs to dub the Poltergeist Report. STAT.
6. The Anti-Piracy clips. I laughed at embarrassingly. But I won't pirate (too lazy to). Also, Yusuke's comment about Megallica is hilarious. And the first time I just realized that it's Megadeath and Metallica combined together. Heh.
7. Also, the only thing that seems to have had the HD treatment is the Golden Seal OVA. Everything else was either VHS or DVD quality.
8. If you're a hardcore Yu Yu Hakusho fan, buy this. If not, I wouldn't really recommend it. It's entire existence seems to just be to cater to our fanly needs.

I'm hoping to resume drawing, perhaps a comic strip series, for Yu Yu Hakusho. I did one for Yukina already and who knows, I may remake that one, but I would totally love to do a series aimed specifically at the fandom (yes, I'm looking at you, Tumblr). But in all seriousness, may do some sketchies later. Hoping!
